Poland

After a 6+ hr. bus ride, we arrived at Auschwitz-Birkenau - a place we would spend 3 1/2 hrs, walking mile after solemn mile through the former concentration camps, now turned museums. As you can imagine, it was unfathomable, surreal, and harrowing. It was the emptiest museum, yet the fullest; it was the quietest, yet the loudest. We continued our journey in complete silence.

Yesterday we enjoyed a 3 1/2 hr. walking tour of the old town of Krakow. It was chock-full of interesting history, architecture, and culture. And today we are being treated to a special lecture by Kyle Risser's Dad, an international businessman with years of experience to share with our business students! Thanks, Mr. Risser!

Happy birthday to one of our gang: Adam Ochs turns 23 June 17th! Happy Birthday, Adam!
